- member Big Bend Model Railroad Club St. Louis,
MO.
- retired from Wabash Railroad. Bob started as machinist
and following accident involving ammonia tank car, which left him with some lingering health conditions the railroad
moved him into an insurance-related job where Bob would inspect accidents on that railroad.
- Wabash Bluebird owned
by Bob O'Neill (handmilled the dies to extrude the aluminum); started in 1947 finished in 1949 over 1000 hours
work. Originally outside third rail, was run by the Wabash on the demonstration layout at the 1949 Railroad Fair
in Chicago, Illinois.
- locomotive engineers received gold medals for
model building, scratch built Wabash 700
- simultaneously built models in HO and O Scale.
- Bill Clouser hand painted on the flags and helped
with detailing.

Custom Builder & Pattern Maker
- Model Railroader, several of his locomotives including the Wabash Bluebird featured as well as his work
at the Big Bend Model Railroad Club from 1969-1971. (we will post list of issues and page numbers as soon as they
are verified)
- Created a number of patterns for the House of
Duddy such as parts for steam locomotives.
- Created special wooden boxes for locomotives,
these boxes are still currently available on special order from House of Duddy.
